Non-leukoplakia

Non-leukoplakia

Non-gonococcal urethritis is a urethritis caused by Chlamydia trachomatis infection. In recent years, the incidence of this disease in my country has continued to soar, causing great troubles to the work and life of many patients. In fact, many patients do not know how they were infected when they are diagnosed with the disease. In fact, this type of urethritis has many transmission routes, in addition to sexual transmission, there is also mother-to-child transmission.

Experts believe that only by understanding the transmission routes of this type of urethritis can we better prevent the disease, and only by cutting off the source of infection can we prevent infection. In order to let everyone better understand the disease, the following will explain in detail the routes through which the disease will be transmitted.

1) Sexual contact : Sexual contact with patients or pathogen carriers can lead to infection. Or it may be infected during sexual intercourse with a person with non-gonococcal urethritis. Sexual disorder, early sexual life and failure to use condoms can increase the incidence rate.

2) Mother-to-child transmission : mothers with non-gonococcal urethritis can infect their newborns through the birth canal. In addition, the fingers of obstetricians and gynecologists and mothers are also an important way to bring pathogens to newborns. When the fetal membranes are intact, mycoplasma can be isolated from the amniotic fluid, placenta and fetal blood, proving that the fetus can also be infected in utero.

3) Indirect transmission , which can be caused by clothing, utensils, etc., is especially common in children. Gynecological and obstetric examination instruments that have not been strictly sterilized may also become a medium of transmission. For example: using clothes, bedding, towels, bathtubs, flush toilets, etc. used by patients with non-gonococcal urethritis.

4) Self-transmission , where pathogens can be inoculated from the reproductive tract to the eyes or throat through hands or contaminants.

The above four points are an introduction to the transmission routes of non-gonococcal gonorrhea. I hope it will be helpful to you after reading it. In addition, when patients discover the disease, they must receive timely treatment. Drinking alcohol is prohibited during treatment. They must adhere to the treatment course and go to the hospital for regular check-ups. It is best for sexual partners to receive treatment together to avoid incomplete treatment.
