Causes of respiratory allergies

Causes of respiratory allergies

Think about it, do you always have some symptoms similar to colds or allergies in the same season every year? People with milder conditions may experience itchy skin, tearing eyes, etc. People with more serious conditions may have symptoms such as nasal congestion and runny nose every night, which may also affect people's normal activities. Many people may not know that this is most likely caused by respiratory allergies, and the symptoms of respiratory allergies are often mistaken for cold symptoms. Therefore, many people do not feel relieved after taking cold medicine.

Many people are puzzled. They experience the above symptoms every spring or summer and don’t know what is going on. Therefore, in order to answer everyone’s confusion, we have listed some causes of respiratory allergies here, and I hope you can get the answers from them.

Mild allergies may only require a trip to the drugstore for some medication (usually a combination of an antihistamine and a decongestant), but if symptoms persist or become a problem for you in your daily life and work, see your doctor.

To accurately diagnose an allergic reaction, doctors first need to know the person's:

.symptom.

.Whether there may be exposure to allergens.

.Past medical history.

.Family medical history.

.Past and current living conditions.

.Eating, living and entertainment habits.

The next step is usually a physical examination and skin testing. When doing a skin test, the doctor will first drop a tiny amount of diluted suspected allergens on the skin and then poke some small holes. If the reaction is positive, the skin under test will develop symptoms similar to a mosquito bite or hives (called blisters and flushing) within about 20 minutes. A positive test result only means that you are allergic to a specific substance. To find the true cause of the allergy, your doctor will need to consider skin test results, medical history, and examination results.

Because there are many causes of respiratory allergies, and each person's body reacts differently to different allergens. Therefore, if you know that you have respiratory allergies, it is best to go to the hospital for diagnosis and then receive appropriate treatment. Don’t just go to the pharmacy to get some medicine and take it. If you use the wrong medicine, it will cause harm to the body.
