Indoor plants that can absorb formaldehyde

We all know that when decorating a home, many home decoration materials contain some formaldehyde, especially for the decoration of a building. It is not suitable to move in immediately after the decoration. The air of the house needs to be circulated for about half a year before moving in permanently. Especially for families with children, they should not live in a room with formaldehyde. So what are the indoor plants that can absorb formaldehyde?

1. Evergreen aloe vera has a certain effect in absorbing odors. It is easy to grow and its effect lasts for a very long time.

2. The maidenhair fern, with its gentle and elegant appearance, can absorb about 20 micrograms of formaldehyde per hour and is considered to be the most effective biological purifier. It also inhibits xylene and toluene released from computer monitors and printers.

3. Silver Queen has unique air purification ability. The higher the concentration of pollutants in the air, the greater its purification ability. It is very suitable for dark rooms with poor ventilation conditions.

4. Tiger tail orchid has a unique temperament, is easy to grow and looks good, and can remove harmful substances from the air.

5. Anthurium is elegant and charming. It is an "expert" in inhibiting gases such as ammonia and acetone. It can also filter benzene, trichloroethylene and formaldehyde in the air.

6. African jasmine. The volatile oils produced by this plant have significant bactericidal effects. It can make people relax, help sleep, and improve work efficiency.

7. Ivy, a super economical and easy-to-grow plant, can effectively resist the carcinogens in nicotine. It absorbs harmful substances through the tiny pores on the leaves and converts them into harmless sugars and amino acids.

8. Golden barrel cactus is very suitable for lazy people to grow. It can absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen day and night.

9. Green ivy can purify benzene, trichloroethylene and formaldehyde in the air at the same time, so it is very suitable to be placed in a newly renovated room.
