Type A and Type O

Type A and Type O

When a boy with type O blood and a girl with type A blood have a disease, what will the blood type matching result be after giving birth? When an O-type boy meets an A-type girl, his heart will be pounding. What should he do after falling in love at first sight? Let's learn about the knowledge of type A and type O blood.

The blood type we often talk about in daily life is the blood type of red blood cells. Type A and Type O are determined based on the specificity of some antigens on the surface of red blood cells. It is known that when people become sick, the red blood cells in the human body have fifteen major blood type systems, which still include the ABO blood type system, and the second is the Rh blood type system.

Agglutinogens are attached to the surface of red blood cells. Lectins are present in plasma (or serum). When agglutinogens and agglutinins of the same name meet (such as agglutinogen A and agglutinin B), red blood cell agglutination (hemolytic reaction) will occur. Therefore, the types of agglutinogens and agglutinins contained in human blood are different, and can be divided into four blood types: A, B, AB, and O.

Blood type is determined by genetics. The blood type relationship between parents and offspring depends on genetic factors. For example, if both parents are type O, the offspring are also type O. If the parents are type O and type AB, then the offspring will be type A or type B.

Type A and Type O are very abundant, so in our daily lives, the relationship between blood type and the health of children is an issue that couples often care about. After reading the above knowledge, I hope we can better understand the types of type A and type O knowledge. Only then can we face life better.
