Skin cysts are a type of skin disease, and skin diseases require careful attention to hygiene. We will take a look at the treatment methods for skin cysts later, hoping it will help patients.

Skin cysts have a cystic structure with a cystic wall on the outside and fluid or other components inside. They can originate from the skin or from mesenchymal tissue.

The cysts are mostly round in shape and protrude semicircularly from the skin surface. It is usually located in the dermis and subcutaneous tissue. Because it is wrapped by the cyst wall, the edges are smooth and neat, with little adhesion to the surrounding tissues, so it feels smooth, elastic and cystic to the touch. The surface skin is mostly free of inflammation and has normal skin color. Generally, its development is limited and will not expand indefinitely to cause local compression symptoms.

1. Surgery or laser removal.

2. Take anti-inflammatory drugs for 1 week after surgery. For oral administration of VC, B1, B2, etc., the dosage can be increased appropriately. The patient will recover within 7 to 10 days after the operation.

3. Check the wound dressing after surgery and perform local treatment if any signs of infection are found.

4. The traditional method of surgical removal of the cyst, that is, opening a window for drainage or stripping the cyst. This method involves long incisions, heavy bleeding, severe trauma, high costs, and is prone to recurrence. The cyst was removed under laparoscopy. Although it only required making a hole and the trauma was much less than surgery, hospitalization was still required and the cost was not low. This is a last resort

It can occur at any age, but is more common in young people on the head, face, arms, and back. It is a soft or multiple soft or solid spheres with a diameter ranging from 1 to 3 cm. Pulmonary tumors are buried in the skin or subcutaneous tissue and adhere to the skin, and the base is movable. A small opening can be seen on the skin surface. When the cyst is pushed, it is tightly adhered to the skin and slightly sunken with a small pit, which is the opening of the duct where the gland directly reaches the skin surface. Some openings are plugged with a small black acne-like plug from which white waxy substances can be squeezed out. The disease has been asymptomatic for many years and is prone to secondary infection, suppuration and ulceration. Some of them have a very bad smell. Literature reports that they can become cancerous, most of which turn into basal cell carcinoma, and a few turn into squamous cell carcinoma. The canceration rate is about 2.2% to 4%.

There are many treatments for this disease, such as direct cyst excision and suture, cryotherapy, laser therapy, microwave therapy and multifunctional electronic therapy, and surgical treatment is the first choice. The key point of sebaceous cyst surgery is to ensure the complete removal of the cyst wall, including the top of the epidermis. Complete removal of the cyst wall can effectively prevent recurrence.

The above are some better treatments for skin cysts. I hope they can help patients. These are some of the more effective treatments suitable for this type of patients. However, it is better to analyze specific issues specifically. Only after going to the hospital for treatment can you have a better treatment effect. There is no need to worry or be nervous about this type of disease. You should have faith in the doctors and medical standards, and believe that the disease will eventually be cured. Have faith in the disease.
