Many people feel that the mask is still very moist and are reluctant to throw it away, thinking that the longer it is applied, the more nutrients the skin will absorb. In fact, this is not the case. Except for sleeping masks that can be used for a long time, other hydrating and moisturizing masks should also follow the usage time indicated on the product. Generally speaking, 10-15 minutes is appropriate and should not exceed 20 minutes. If you leave the mask on for too long or even wait until it dries before removing it, the moisture will only evaporate. After removing the mask, you should immediately apply lotion to lock in moisture.
