The ingredients of Guyuan paste are mostly donkey-hide gelatin, red dates, black sesame, walnut kernels, longan, rock sugar, and rice wine. Some recipes may add wolfberry, jujube kernel, honey, lotus seeds, etc. to meet the needs of different groups of people.

It is suitable for young and middle-aged women with qi and blood deficiency, elderly people with kidney yin and yang deficiency and liver blood deficiency, as well as people with poor physical constitution. It should be noted that Guyuan Paste is relatively greasy and should not be taken for a long time by people with weak spleen and stomach. Storage of Guyuan Paste:

1. Just refrigerate it and you can take it out and eat it at any time, or you can cut it into small pieces, put it in a container and put it in the refrigerator. It doesn’t need to be frozen too hard. Take it out when you’re ready to eat, leave it at room temperature for a while and you can eat it. You can eat it as a snack or dessert.

2. In order to facilitate long-term storage, you can take another bag first (the bag you eat first is best put into bottles, cans with screw-tops or beverage bottles, so that you can tighten the lids to seal them after eating. You can also go to the store to buy freezer- and microwave-resistant multi-purpose cans). It is best not to open the other bags.

You cannot eat too much Guyuan paste at one time. Eating too much Guyuan paste can easily cause getting a sore throat, a broken nose or oral diseases. To preserve Guyuan paste, it is best to refrigerate it. Before freezing, be sure to wrap it with a layer of plastic wrap, or put it in a dry bottle. This way, the leftover Guyuan paste can be stored for easy consumption next time. It is very effective for people with kidney deficiency, spleen and stomach deficiency.
