How to wash rust off clothes

How to wash rust off clothes

If you don't use a clothesline when drying clothes, but instead hang them directly on a wire, or use an iron clothesline, you may not feel anything when you first use it. However, when people continue to use it, they will find that rust will appear on the clothes, which is very obvious. Of course, it definitely doesn't look good, because the rust looks too conspicuous on the clothes, but it would be fine if it could be washed off.

1. Lemon removal method: Squeeze the juice from a fresh lemon, drop a few drops of lemon juice on the rust stains and rub it with your hands. Repeat several times until the rust stains are removed, then wash with soapy water.

2. Cleaning method with vinegar (transparent vinegar, not colored vinegar that can easily stain clothes): If you are worried that vinegar will discolor your clothes, you can dilute the vinegar appropriately first. This method is not suitable for clothes that are too bright. Drop some vinegar on the rust stains and rub them slowly, then rinse with soapy water.

3. Oxalic acid solution: Buy oxalic acid pills, make it into a solution, then drop it on the stain and rub it, then wash it with soapy water (this method is also not suitable for bright clothes). Another reminder is that oxalic acid is very irritating, so don't get it in your eyes during operation.

4. If the rust stains have been there for a long time, try mixing some of the acids mentioned above with salt, such as mixing lemon juice and salt, rub them on the stains, and then rinse with detergent.

5. Finally, you can try a special rust removal detergent. As for the development and application of enzyme technology, high-efficiency enzyme-catalyzed stain removal technology is more gentle, has little harm to hands and clothes, and is suitable for clothes.

I wonder if you all understand? When rust encounters acidic substances, it will be dissolved by them and eventually the rust will disappear. Using this principle, we can use acidic substances such as lemon and white vinegar. Moreover, by using these things for cleaning, the rust will naturally disappear from the clothes, so you can rest assured.
