How to remove stains from clothes

How to remove stains from clothes

If the clothes you wear are light-colored and you wash them together with dark-colored clothes, then you can imagine the result. The light-colored clothes will definitely change color slightly because they have been affected by the dark-colored clothes. If you don’t want to throw away light-colored clothes, you can only wash the clothes again, wash out the stained color, and restore their original "appearance", so as not to waste the clothes.

1. Cleaning method with a mixture of soap and alkali water. Put the dyed clothes in a basin, soak them in clean water first, and then take them out. Then soak the clothes in a freshly boiled mixture of soapy water and alkaline water for ten minutes. Finally, just rub it gently with water and the dye will be rubbed off. This will restore the clothes to their original color.

2. Cleaning method with 84 disinfectant. 84 disinfectant has bleaching properties, so it can be used to treat dyed clothes. However, because of this characteristic, this method is only suitable for dyed white clothes or very light colored clothes. The specific operation method is: put the stained clothes into a basin, pour some freshly boiled water and some 84 disinfectant (the amount of disinfectant should be determined according to the area and depth of the stained clothes), soak for 15 minutes, and then gently rub the stained area of the clothes with your hands.

3. Cleaning with hydrogen peroxide solution. Put the clothes in a basin of cold water, then add hydrogen peroxide to the basin until the ratio of hydrogen peroxide to water is close to 1:10. Soak for about 5 minutes. Simply rub the stained garment with your hands. Note: Do not use hydrogen peroxide to directly apply to the stained area of clothing. When adding hydrogen peroxide to water, try to avoid dropping it directly on clothing.

The two methods of cleaning with a mixture of soap and alkali water and cleaning with 84 disinfectant are more realistic. At least we often use soap, alkali water and disinfectant. However, the hydrogen peroxide solution cleaning method is not common. This substance is generally used in laboratories, and almost no one will buy it on purpose, so it is good to just know about this method.
