How to clean oil stains on clothes

So how do you clean the oil stains on clothes?

1. Use hydrochloric acid, gasoline, etc. to clean oil stains on clothes

Since hydrochloric acid is somewhat irritating to the skin, it is best not to contact it directly with your hands when using it. When using flammable items such as gasoline, do not place them randomly to avoid accidents. When cleaning oil stains on clothes, it is best to wipe from the edge of the stain gradually towards the center, so as to prevent the stain from spreading outwards.

2. Remove candle wax

First, use a knife to gently scrape off the surface wax, then place two pieces of straw paper on the upper and lower sides of the stain, and iron it two or three times. Use the heat from the iron to melt the wax in the cloth fibers, and the melted wax will be absorbed by the straw paper. Repeat several times and the candle oil marks can be completely removed.

3. Remove butter marks

Since the main component of butter stains is fat, they need to be cleaned with benzene, carbon tetrachloride and volatile oil. If the yellow color is not clean, you can use alcohol or ammonia to wash it off

When oil stains appear on clothes, many people will use 84 to clean them. However, 84 is a substance with very strong cleaning ability. If used improperly, it will not only cause certain damage to the clothes, but also cause serious damage to the skin of the hands. Therefore, 84 must be used with caution.
