1. Harm to the brain. Although the weight of brain tissue only accounts for 2-3% of human body weight, the brain's blood flow is about 800 ml per minute, oxygen consumption is about 45 ml per minute, and sugar consumption is about 5 grams per hour. The brain tissue of teenagers is in the development stage, and their demand for blood, oxygen and glucose is higher than that of adults. If blood sugar is too low, brain consciousness activities will be impaired. If this continues for a long time, it will inevitably affect the weight and morphological development of the brain.

2. Harm to the digestive system. Under normal circumstances, the food eaten the night before is emptied from the stomach into the intestines after about six hours. If you don’t eat breakfast the next day, gastric acid and various digestive enzymes in the stomach will “digest” the gastric mucosa. If things go on like this for a long time, the normal function of cells to secrete mucus will be destroyed, which can easily cause digestive system diseases such as gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer.

3. It causes arteriosclerosis and is more likely to lead to obesity. Many teenage students do not eat breakfast because they are afraid of gaining weight. There is no scientific basis for this practice. The human body has a standard demand for calories. If you skip breakfast, you will inevitably increase your food intake for lunch and dinner. After dinner, people generally do less exercise, which makes it easier for fat to accumulate and lead to obesity. In addition, skipping breakfast for a long time will cause cholesterol and lipoprotein to deposit in the inner walls of blood vessels, leading to vascular sclerosis.

Another thing is that people who don't wipe it sooner or later are more likely to get fat. You should know that the body consumes energy first by consuming sugar in the body, and then by fat. Generally, fat cannot be consumed in the morning, so when eating lunch, it will actually lead to eating more, thereby increasing the amount of fat accumulation, so don't skip breakfast.
