The symptoms of ringworm are white flocs on the scalp and hair loss. Because ringworm is a fungal infection, it is mostly transmitted through mutual contact and can easily spread in areas with poor sanitary conditions. It is more common among children. The symptoms of adolescent white ringworm are that the hair will break off unevenly near the scalp. Over time, it will slowly heal during adolescence without leaving any scars.

Treatment methods for ringworm:

1. Before treating ringworm, the hair in the affected area should be shaved flat to facilitate the application of medicine.

2. It is best to wash your hair with alum or hot water every day, then apply medicine on the affected area, cover it with something, and then bandage it or fix it with a hat. Change the medicine once a day. Until the symptoms of ringworm slowly disappear.

3. After one week of medication, the hair will be found to be loose, so you can pull it out with tweezers. If there is no loosening, you need to apply more medicine without interruption until all the diseased hair is removed.

4. It is not advisable to apply the medicine too thickly on the area affected by ringworm. It is sufficient to apply it once a day. However, it takes 2 to 4 consecutive dressing changes to completely eliminate the disease.

The above content is an introduction to the symptoms and treatment of ringworm. I hope that after understanding it, everyone will definitely seek treatment according to their own condition. It is best to go to the hospital for relevant examinations in time after discovering relevant symptoms, and do not use drugs indiscriminately. Only by taking medications tailored to the condition can the disease be treated as quickly as possible.
