Why do my eyes itch when I wear contact lenses?

1. The eye itself may be suffering from inflammation, such as the most common conjunctivitis. If you have inflammation, wearing colored contact lenses will make your eyes uncomfortable and red, and you are not suitable for wearing them. It is recommended that you go to the hospital for a check-up and wear them after your eyes have recovered.

2. Allergy to care solution. Not every care solution is suitable for everyone. If your eyes itch after wearing contact lenses, the care solution may be one of the reasons.

3. Wearing colored contact lenses for too long, which are not breathable, and causing excessive eye fatigue may also cause itchy eyes.

4. The lenses are not cleaned thoroughly enough and have bacteria. It is recommended to replace the companion box regularly and rub the protein on the lenses.

5. If you haven't worn colored contact lenses for a long time, or if you are wearing them for the first time, your eyes may not be used to them and it may cause itchy eyes. This requires an adaptation period before you can wear and use them slowly.
