What is the suitable indoor temperature?

When resting and sleeping, many people may not pay attention to the suitable indoor temperature. In most cases, the temperature in winter should be around 18 to 25 degrees. You should also pay attention to it when turning on the air conditioner.

1. In winter, the temperature is 18℃~25℃ and the humidity is 30%~80%. In an air-conditioned room, people feel most comfortable when the room temperature is 19℃~24℃ and the humidity is 40%~50%.

For people who need to go out frequently, if the room temperature is too high, the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor will increase, which will reduce their resistance and make the indoor air abnormally dry, destroying the temperature and humidity environment in the body and affecting their body fluid secretion. Not only will people feel hot all over, but they will also have difficulty breathing and abnormally dry feelings in their eyes, ears, mouth, nose, throat, skin, etc.

2. If the indoor temperature is too low, the body's metabolic function will decline, the pulse and breathing will slow down, the subcutaneous blood vessels will contract, the skin will become overly tense, the respiratory tract resistance will weaken, and respiratory diseases can be easily induced. Open windows for ventilation appropriately to ensure living comfort. It is also best to place a basin of water or use a humidifier in the room to increase the humidity.

3. Generally speaking, in summer, it is more appropriate to adjust the air conditioner to 25-27 degrees Celsius, and the humidity to between 50 and 60 percent. In summer, it is better to set the air conditioner at a temperature 3-5 degrees lower than the outdoor temperature. Too large a temperature difference can easily make people feel uncomfortable, especially children are prone to air-conditioning disease. The normal temperature of the human body requires a relatively stable temperature environment. Too large a temperature difference between indoors and outdoors can easily cause an imbalance in body temperature. If the air conditioner is set too low and the cool breeze blows for too long, it can cause general fatigue, dizziness, colds or recurrence of arthritis, etc. The temperature difference between indoors and outdoors should not be too large.
