Introduction to eating banana chips

Banana chips are actually made by cutting bananas into thin slices and then going through a series of processes. Because the banana chips can be preserved longer, they are loved by many people. The following are the specific steps for making banana chips.

1. Slice the bananas thinly. Choose the freshest and hardest bananas (do not use unripe bananas, or they will taste astringent). Slice them as thinly as possible. Homemade banana slices are different from factory-made ones, so they can only be thin.

2. Place on non-stick cloth

3. Spread a layer of fine sugar on the surface. Remember to use fine granulated sugar, not powdered sugar. Also don’t use too coarse sugar, as it will not taste good. Although bananas are already very sweet, fine sugar helps the finished product to be crispy, so just apply a thin layer to help.

4. Bake at 100 degrees in the oven, on the upper layer, for about half an hour to 40 minutes, but it depends on the actual situation. If it still feels soft and sticky, continue baking. Anyway, this is low-temperature baking and will not consume too much electricity. If the oven has hot air rotation, turn it on as well. The drying speed will be faster. After the surface is non-stick and has been formed, peel it off from the oilcloth. You see, it is already a thin piece.

5 Move them to the grill and continue baking at 100 degrees, middle layer, for about half an hour. It will become slightly softer when it is put on the grill because one side was previously covered with oilcloth. This step is to allow both sides to be dried. Bake until both sides are dry and feel obviously crisp and hard. If you feel it's still not enough time, just add a little more time to bake without having to keep an eye on it. Low temperature, won't burn

6 After it is out of the oven, let it dry. It will be the crispiest when it is completely cooled. If you don’t want to eat it right away, put it in a dry fresh-keeping box and seal it. It will stay crispy when you eat it.

Precautions

1. Choose hard bananas, which are easier to cut into thin pieces;

2. The temperature of each oven is different, so make sure to adjust it to a low temperature for baking. When the time is up, you can test whether it is crispy or not, and decide whether to continue baking accordingly;

3. Sprinkling sugar can increase the crispness, a small amount is enough.
