What toothpaste is good for cavities?

When it comes to tooth decay, in fact, in daily life, if we can choose the right toothpaste to brush our teeth, it can have a good preventive effect to a certain extent. For example, after brushing your teeth with fluoride toothpaste, gargling with foam for two or three minutes will have a better effect.

1. After brushing your teeth with fluoride toothpaste, rinse your mouth with the foam for two or three minutes, let the foam flow between your lips and teeth, and then spit it out. At this time, the fluoride ions are dissolved in the foam and are easily absorbed by the teeth, especially the tiny dental plaques. Do not swallow them by mistake. I used this method to get rid of the dental plaques in my mouth, and it can also strengthen fragile teeth.

2. Brushing method: For the chewing surface, use the horizontal brushing method, with a sawing motion back and forth. For the inner and outer surfaces of the teeth (i.e. the tongue and cheek), use the vertical brushing method. When brushing the upper teeth, first place the bristles of the toothbrush lightly on the junction of the gums and teeth, and then use the up and down movement of the wrist like a comb to brush the bristles from the gums down along the teeth, repeating the same part several times; when brushing the lower teeth, use the same method to brush from bottom to top, so that the food residues and dental plaque in the teeth can be cleaned.

3. Use fluoride mouthwash every 3 days. Mouthwash can penetrate deep into the gaps between teeth that toothpaste cannot reach, and remove tartar and plaque. No need to use it too often.

4. Brush your teeth after meals. If you can't do that, rinse your mouth with warm water after meals. Don't just rinse and spit it out, but rinse your mouth vigorously 100 times. This will be effective. Also rinse your mouth after eating snacks.

5. You can choose a famous brand of fluoride toothpaste, such as China, Colgate, and Crest. The texture should be jelly-like. Pay attention to the fluoride content. The national standard stipulates:

<<:  What should I do if flesh grows inside a decayed tooth

>>:  What happens if bronchiectasis becomes severe
