In modern society, in order to become more beautiful, more and more female friends are beginning to agree to use plastic surgery to change themselves. Especially minor plastic surgery, such as double eyelid surgery, nose bridge augmentation, etc. are all considered minor plastic surgery. In addition, autologous fat filling is also a type of plastic surgery, which achieves the effect of defect plastic surgery through fat transplantation. So is autologous fat grafting harmful to us? Let’s find out together. 1. Low fat survival rate The low fat survival rate is the most obvious disadvantage of autologous fat filling. Autologous fat filling is achieved through fat transplantation. If too much fat is filled at one time, the transplanted fat may lose blood supply and oxygen, leading to fat calcification or nodules. If the fat survival rate is low, it means that the body needs to undergo multiple fat extractions and fillers, which is not good for health. 2. It can easily lead to uneven face When filling the entire face with autologous fat, fat extraction adheres to the principle of getting it right in one go, and the extracted fat cells must be complete and round. During the fat extraction process, the contact time between fat cells and air will affect the quality of fat cells. When fat cells are injected into various parts of the face, the injection technique and rehearsal of fat cells require the doctor to have very skilled techniques. If the doctor is inexperienced, when injecting symmetrical parts on both sides of the face, there may be differences in the degree of absorption on both sides, resulting in the phenomenon of an uneven face. 3. Prone to skin infection If disinfection is not strict before autologous fat filling, or the patient suffers from chronic inflammation in the operated area, autologous fat filling can easily lead to the risk of skin infection. Generally, the infected area will become red, swollen, hot and painful 5-7 days after the operation. In severe cases, the local skin may become flushed, cyanotic, or the needle holes may not heal and pus may ooze out. 4. Hematoma or blood oozing If autologous fat filling is not performed properly, it will increase the risk of hematoma or blood exudation in the patient. There are many nerves and blood vessels in the human face, and the blood vessels in the subcutaneous tissue or other parts are small. If the skin is damaged during liposuction, it is easy to cause hematoma. This phenomenon is more likely to occur if the patient has a coagulation disorder. Furthermore, if the local wound formed during liposuction is large and there are too many tissue gaps, it is easy to cause blood seepage and form skin bruises. |
