What's going on with dizziness and weakness in limbs?

Dizziness and weakness in the limbs are common to people of all ages. For the elderly, it may be caused by hypertension, cerebral arteriosclerosis and some neurosis, while for young and middle-aged people it may be caused by mental stress or work pressure.

1. The symptoms of dizziness affect a wide range of people, from primary school children to people in their 90s. The cause of disease is different for each patient. For children, the cause of dizziness and weakness in limbs may be problems with the child’s vestibular function, which causes an imbalance in the body and leads to dizziness.

2. Some analgesics, anti-inflammatory drugs, antibiotics, anti-cancer drugs and other drugs may cause dizziness. This is related to the dosage of the drug and the duration of use.

3. External ear diseases: external otitis, cerumen embolism, foreign bodies in the external ear, acute and chronic inflammation of the middle ear, tympanic membrane perforation, otosclerosis and Meniere's syndrome and acoustic neuroma of the inner ear can all cause dizziness in patients.

4. For many elderly people who experience dizziness, the most common causes are febrile diseases, hypertension, cerebral arteriosclerosis, craniocerebral trauma syndrome, neurosis, etc.

5. For many young and middle-aged dizziness patients, mental stress and fatigue: long-term high mental stress and physical fatigue can easily aggravate tinnitus. Therefore, adjust the work rhythm appropriately and relax the mood of tinnitus patients.

6. Irregular diet or rest. People who are often on business trips or traveling do not have a fixed routine, and they may feel dizzy and weak after a long time.

7. Anemia is also a major cause of dizziness in the elderly. If the elderly experience dizziness, fatigue, and pale complexion, they should go to the hospital for a check-up to see if they have anemia. If the elderly do not pay attention to nutritional health, they are likely to suffer from anemia.
