What to do if blood circulation is not smooth, you need to know these methods

Poor blood circulation is a symptom that can occur in many parts of the body. Many people don’t know what to do if their blood circulation is poor. Generally, if your blood circulation is poor, you can do some exercise, which can help promote blood circulation.

1. Exercise

You can promote blood circulation by doing some exercises at home: going up and down stairs. If you cannot go out for a walk due to weather or other reasons, you can make full use of existing materials at home, such as filling a waste cardboard box with books to make small steps and doing stair exercises. The specific method is to do it up and down within 2 seconds, and continue for 3 minutes. Rest for a while before continuing, and increase the speed and frequency appropriately according to your health condition. You can also exercise by taking the stairs.

2. Lift your heels

In daily life, heel lifting is a very simple exercise and can be done anytime and anywhere, such as while waiting for a bus or watching TV. If you persist in doing it for a long time, it can strengthen the muscles of your legs, feet and waist. The specific method is to align your feet and put them together, keep your body upright, then slowly raise your heels until they cannot be raised any further, hold for a few seconds and then slowly lower your heels. If you keep doing this for a long time, it will be very effective.

3. Press acupoints

There are three acupoints on the body. Massaging them more often can help dredge the meridians, promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, and keep out the cold and keep warm. The first is the Dazhui point, which is located below the most protruding bone behind the neck. Patients with lumbar spondylosis can rub their waist. The spine is the site where the Du meridian runs in acupuncture, and the Du meridian can regulate the yang meridians of the whole body. Massaging the neck and waist can dredge the Du meridian and regulate qi and blood. The specific operation is to rub your hands together to warm them up and press the neck and waist tightly, rubbing vigorously about 30 times. Patients with cervical spondylosis can massage the Dazhui point frequently. Others are Hegu and Zusanli, both of which are points on the Yangming meridian. Yangming is a meridian with abundant qi and blood, and is of great importance for the smooth flow of qi and blood in the meridians. If you can insist on massaging Hegu, Zusanli and other acupoints every day, you can also increase the body's resistance and improve the body's ability to withstand cold.
