How long can you live after liver cancer interventional treatment? Analysis of life expectancy issues of liver cancer interventional treatment

Liver cancer is a relatively common cancer for us. Having liver cancer will have a great impact on health and endanger life. After interventional treatment of liver cancer, the survival time needs to be judged according to the condition. Generally, the survival time after interventional treatment of liver cancer is about 5 years, but everyone's physical condition is different, and the survival time may be different.

How long can you live after liver cancer interventional treatment?

The survival time of interventional treatment of liver cancer is related to many factors, as follows:

1. Early detection and early treatment will increase the survival time. If the tumor is already in the late stage when it is discovered, or has metastasized, invaded surrounding tissues, and diffusely grown, the survival time will still be limited even if it is treated;

2. The survival time varies greatly depending on the pathological type of the tumor and the individual's physical condition;

3. Following the doctor's instructions to return for follow-up visits on time and actively cooperating with the doctor for comprehensive treatment can prolong the patient's survival time.

How long you can live after interventional treatment of liver cancer depends mainly on the clinical stage of liver cancer. If it is early liver cancer, the diameter of the liver cancer is less than 5cm, there is no extrahepatic metastasis, and the patient's liver function is good, then interventional treatment is performed in this case. The 5-year survival rate of general patients can reach about 60%, and the effect of interventional treatment is still very good. Moreover, intervention can directly and effectively kill the entire tumor, cause as little damage to the body as possible, and can activate and enhance anti-tumor immune function. It is a new type of minimally invasive therapy. However, if the patient is already in the late stage of liver cancer and metastasis has occurred, the effect of interventional treatment is generally not very good. Intervention can only minimize the metastasis rate of liver cancer and the occurrence of complications. The general survival period is about half a year.

Liver cancer refers to a malignant tumor that occurs in the liver. It is highly malignant and has a poor prognosis. The overall survival time of patients is generally about one and a half years.

How long a patient can live after interventional treatment for liver cancer depends on the patient's stage, the location of the tumor, and the number of tumors. For patients with multiple intrahepatic metastases or high-risk factors such as portal vein cancer thrombus, their prognosis is generally not very good, with a survival time of more than one year. If the patient's physical condition is very poor, recurrence and metastasis may occur within a short period of time after interventional treatment, and their survival time may be even shorter, generally about three months. We cannot generalize.
