Can perfume cause allergies?

There are many types of perfumes, but some perfumes have quality problems. They are formulated with inferior chemicals. If the human body's resistance is poor, it will cause skin allergies. Therefore, when spraying perfume, you can first apply it on your arm to test whether your body will react. When choosing perfume, try to choose one with a lighter smell, which is better for the respiratory system.

There are three reasons: The quality of the perfume is problematic. Avoid buying cheap and low-quality perfume. Your skin is super sensitive, so don't apply perfume directly to your skin. You can spray it on your underwear. It is the skin with perfume on it that is exposed to the sun, causing a chemical reaction. Allergy is a series of hypersensitivity reactions caused by the immune system coming into contact with some allergens in the environment that have little effect on ordinary people. They include allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, asthma and systemic anaphylaxis. Symptoms may include red eyes, itchy rashes, difficulty breathing and swelling.

Common allergens include food and pollen. Metals and other substances may also trigger allergies. Severe allergic reactions are common to food, insect bites, and medications. The development of symptoms depends on both genetics and environment. The original mechanism of allergy is immunoglobulin E antibodies, which are part of the human immune system and bind to allergens and release chemicals such as histamine that cause inflammation. The diagnosis of allergies is usually based on the patient's medical history.

Skin or blood tests may be necessary in selected cases for further evaluation. However, a positive test result does not mean that the allergen tested is the single substance that causes allergies. Under normal circumstances, when foreign substances enter the human body, they generally face two fates. If they are recognized by the body as useful or harmless substances, these substances will coexist harmoniously with the human body and be utilized or excreted naturally. If these substances are identified as harmful, the body's immune system will respond immediately to expel or eliminate them. This is the protective role of the immune response.
