Symptoms of allergic purpura are commonly seen here

Allergic purpura is a common disease of the patients themselves. Unlike general skin allergic diseases, it not only causes damage to the patient's skin, but may also cause damage to the patient's joints or other organs. In severe cases, it may even affect the patient's daily work and life. Therefore, once the symptoms of the disease are found, the patient must actively seek treatment. The symptoms of allergic purpura are as follows:

1. Brown-red maculopapules: They protrude from the skin surface, do not fade when pressed, and are distributed symmetrically. They are more common on the limbs and buttocks. The symptoms of this allergic purpura may be accompanied by itching or pain, and pigmentation may remain after the symptoms subside. The appearance of allergic purpura may also be complicated by urticaria, angioedema, erythema multiforme or ulcer necrosis, etc. Sometimes allergic purpura may also appear on the oral mucosa or conjunctiva of the eyes.

2. Redness and swelling of joints : The joints of patients with Henoch-Schönlein purpura may have mild pain or obvious redness, swelling, pain and movement disorders. The symptoms of Henoch-Schönlein purpura often involve large joints, most commonly the knees, ankles, elbows, wrists and other joints. They may be migratory and are often misdiagnosed as "rheumatism". This is also a common symptom of allergic purpura.

3. Abdominal pain: Abdominal pain is common in allergic purpura, which is mostly colic. The symptoms of this type of allergic purpura are caused by blood extravasation into the intestinal wall. The pain is obvious in the navel and right lower abdomen, and can spread to the entire abdomen. However, there is generally no abdominal muscle tension and the tenderness is mild. The symptoms of allergic purpura may be accompanied by nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and black stools.
