What is the reason for high apolipoprotein b

What is the reason for high apolipoprotein b

Apolipoprotein B is the smallest lipoprotein in low-density lipoprotein. Its main function is to transport lipid substances. When apolipoprotein B is elevated, it often leads to some diseases or sub-health conditions. For example, obesity and lack of exercise can easily lead to high apolipoprotein B. When such data appear, you must eat low-salt and low-fat foods, eat less greasy foods, and exercise more.

1. Analyze variation

Coefficient of variation of immunoelectrophoresis diffusion method: CV=6%

2. Biological Variation

The age group of 20 to 60 years old increases by about 20%, obesity (weight overload) increases, and the use of luteinizing hormone in women can increase the results by about 19%.

Exercise can reduce it by about 2%, a vegetarian diet can reduce it by about 2%, hypolipidemia can reduce it by about 10%, and estrogen in women can reduce it by about 6% (some people have reported a 30% reduction). Many therapeutic drugs, such as cholestyramine (does not affect VLDL), clofibrate, niacin, dextrothyroxine, asparaginase, etc. can lead to a decrease in apolipoprotein B.

Pathological changes

1. Increase risk of hyperlipoproteinemia, diabetes, atherosclerosis, and myocardial infarction.

2. Reduction is seen in myocardial ischemia and hepatic insufficiency.

IV. Level of Medical Determinacy

1.60g/L: Above this limit, lipid metabolism disorders exist and dietary therapy should be observed.
