These symptoms are exacerbated by ulnar deviation of the wrist, exertion in hyperextension of the wrist, and forceful forearm rotation. Patients often complain of pain on the ulnar side of the wrist when rotating the wrist, making it difficult to complete actions such as wringing a towel, driving a car, and using a spoon. How to treat 1. Acupuncture Acupuncture therapy can quickly treat wrist tenosynovitis. Acupuncture can stimulate the tendons and tendon sheaths near the wrist. Repeated withdrawal of the needle can allow the tendon to continue to slide in the tendon sheath, thereby relieving pain and continuing wrist movement. 2. The drug massage method uses some external anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs, such as Voltaren, to massage the wrist, which can promote the dissipation of inflammation. Hot compress method: Use a hot towel or a hot water bag and apply it directly to the wrist, two to three times a day, each time for fifteen to twenty minutes. Hot compress can improve local blood circulation and relieve local discomfort. 4. Rest and recuperation. Wrist tenosynovitis is mostly caused by excessive strain on the wrist.
