Severe mental disorders are actually what we usually call mental illnesses. Generally, patients will have delusions, hallucinations, illusions, etc., and will talk nonsense, behave strangely, etc., and many people cannot take care of themselves. It is usually caused by psychological, family heredity, or social factors. We have many kinds of treatment methods, including drug therapy, public therapy, etc., and the most important one is psychotherapy, which has a good effect on many patients. 1. Drug treatment. Since the 1950s, the treatment of many mental illnesses has entered the era of chemical therapy. The drugs used include antianxiety drugs, antipsychotic drugs, antidepressants, antimanic drugs, etc. 2. Shock therapy, such as electric shock. 3. Psychotherapy. It has always played an important role in the treatment of several mental disorders and is currently mainly used for neurosis, psychosomatic diseases and personality disorders. 4. Occupational therapy. Or occupational therapy. That is, patients are assigned to perform labor or craft operations within their capabilities every day to assist or promote relief of their condition. Patients with acute mental disorders should participate in activities such as handicraft making, sewing, calligraphy or painting when their condition improves to increase their interest and confidence in life. For chronic patients, industrial therapy should be arranged, that is, participating in some collective labor operations with the nature of assembly line operations. This kind of occupational therapy is closer to real life and helps their mental recovery. Another important purpose of occupational therapy is to help patients find employment or engage in vocational rehabilitation. This includes managing the household and educating the children. For neurosis, sedatives can also be used reasonably, but the most important thing is psychotherapy. Psychological counseling and psychotherapy are increasingly showing their important role in the treatment of neurosis, the health care of patients recovering from mental illness, and the prevention of other mental illnesses. 5. Prefrontal lobotomy appeared in the 1930s to treat stubborn anxiety, obsessions, delusional states, etc., which is called psychosurgery. Currently, there are also frontal lobe ultrasound treatments and stereotactic surgery, and their exact therapeutic effects are being explored. 6. "Brain nerve immune repair therapy" is a national cutting-edge therapy for the treatment of mental illness, which was first developed by experts from the Neurology Diagnosis and Treatment Center of the People's Liberation Army Hospital after decades of scientific research. This therapy is effective in treating mental illness and is professional and authoritative. So far, this therapy has relieved the troubles of more than 100,000 mental illness patients from all over the country and helped them regain their health with its high cure rate and good therapeutic effect. The clinical application of this therapy has completely broken the history of the difficulty in curing mental illness and opened a new era in the treatment of mental illness by humans. |
