Can snake venom treat skin diseases

When it comes to animals like snakes, many people immediately feel afraid and think that snakes are poisonous. The power of snake venom is far greater than our imagination, but current scientific and technological research has discovered that snake venom has high medicinal value and is used to treat many diseases. Because of this, some people say that snake venom can treat skin diseases, and research has found that snake venom has a cosmetic effect.

Snake venom has eight effects

1. Treat cancer and fight cancer, fight tumors;

2. Hemostasis and anticoagulation;

3. Toxic drugs and analgesics;

4. Preparation of anti-snake venom serum;

5. Scientific research;

6. Lower blood pressure, reduce fiber, and dissolve blood clots;

7. Treating head pain caused by blood stasis;

8. Application of nerve growth factor.

Snake venom has anti-cancer effects

Cancer is a global problem. If you have cancer, you are sentenced to "fixed-term imprisonment"! Although medicine is advanced now, there is still no effective treatment. Scientists from various countries are studying snake venom as a new field to overcome this stronghold. The Snake Venom Research Laboratory of China Medical University attempted to find effective ingredients that can inhibit tumor growth from the venom of the pit viper produced in Snake Island, Dalian, Liaoning Province. They conducted a tumor inhibition experiment comparing the original venom and isolated venom of the pit viper from Snake Island. Nine different concentrations of snake venom had varying degrees of inhibitory effects on mouse sarcoma, with some tumor inhibition rates as high as 87.1%. In the future, snake venom may be the most ideal drug for treating cancer.

Snake venom has anticoagulant effect

The "defibrase" proposed by the Yunnan Institute of Zoology in my country in the five-step snake has passed technical identification many years ago. It has been used to treat 333 cases of vascular thrombosis, including 242 cases of cerebral thrombosis, with an effective rate of 86.4%. The pit viper acid antacid developed in collaboration between China Medical University and Shenyang Pharmaceutical College has achieved satisfactory clinical results in the treatment of vascular occlusive diseases. The Snake Venom Research Laboratory of China Medical University has developed a snake venom anti-acid enzyme that can lower blood lipids, dilate blood vessels, reduce the content of thromboxane in the blood, increase prostacyclin, and relax vascular smooth muscle. It is an ideal anticoagulant and thrombolytic agent.

Snake venom has a hemostatic effect

As a hemostatic agent, Japanese scientists have extracted procoagulant components from viper venom to treat various surgical bleeding symptoms and have achieved good results. It has been used in clinical surgery, internal medicine, ENT, obstetrics and gynecology and other bleeding diseases. The drug is called "reptile enzyme injection".

Snake venom has analgesic effect

The analgesic effect of snake venom is now well established and has been used in many places. As early as 1976, the Kunming Institute of Zoology in Yunnan successfully developed "Ketongling" from the venom of cobra snakes for clinical use in the treatment of various painful diseases, achieving a unique analgesic effect. The "Compound Ketongning" developed by Cao Yisheng has shown good efficacy in the treatment of neuropathic pain, cancer pain and drug addiction. Because snake venom analgesics have higher analgesic activity and are non-addictive, they are clinically used to replace morphine in the treatment of pain in the late stage of cancer.
