What to do if bitten by a spider

We often see spiders in our daily lives. According to the classification of insects, spiders are beneficial insects. They can not only capture some pests, but also have good medical value. Spiders are poisonous, and the amount of poison is determined by the type of spider. If we are bitten by a spider in our daily lives, we must deal with it in time. Let's take a look at what to do if a spider bites us.

First, what to do if a spider bites you. Immediately squeeze the wound until blood comes out to prevent the spread of toxins. Wash the wound immediately with clean water and disinfect it with alcohol. Apply high-quality honey to the bitten area to counteract the spider's venom. If red spots appear, apply safflower oil. If swelling occurs, you can go to the hospital to take anti-inflammatory drugs.

Second, after being bitten by a spider, wash the wound immediately with soap and water, and apply a cool compress to the wound. For adults, aspirin or acetaminophen can be used to relieve bite symptoms. Remember that aspirin should not be used for children. Acetaminophen can be used instead. Children under six and adults with severe symptoms should go to the hospital for medical care.

Third, if the wound is on the arm or leg, you can tie a mild bandage above the wound to slow down or even stop the spread of venom. Make sure the bandage is not too tight, as it will restrict blood circulation in your arm or thigh. Apply a cool compress to the wound. You can use a cloth dipped in ice water or put ice cubes inside the cloth. Seek medical attention. For those bitten by black widows, the hospital will use antitoxin drugs. For victims bitten by brown recluse spiders, doctors usually treat them with corticosteroids.

What to do if you get bit by a spider. Ordinary spiders are not very poisonous. If you are bitten, don't panic. Use the correct method to deal with it and there will generally not be any major problems. If there is no improvement or symptoms such as nausea and dizziness appear, go to the hospital immediately. Wish you good health!!
