Effects and precautions of Liuhuang soap

Many people like to use sulfur soap to wash their faces, thinking that it can thoroughly clean the skin, kill bacteria and mites on the face, inhibit sebum secretion, and make the skin smooth, remove dead skin and relieve itching. However, sulfur soap also has certain precautions. Do not rely on it too much. The cleaning ability is too strong and it can easily damage the skin's stratum corneum and make the skin lose its self-protection ability. It can be used in stages to achieve the desired effect without irritating the skin.

Sulfur soap benefits

Sulfur soap has the functions of inhibiting sebum secretion, killing bacteria, fungi, molds, mites, parasites, etc., and has certain preventive and auxiliary therapeutic effects on some skin diseases.

How to use

The concentration of sulfur soap is lower than that of sulfur suppositories used clinically, but it is not recommended for long-term continuous use and can be used intermittently. Initially, you can do it twice a day. After the symptoms are alleviated, you can change to once a day, once every three days, etc., and gradually discontinue the procedure until you stop.

Some people have delicate skin, and may experience peeling when they first use it. This is because the sulfur works. Long-term use of sulfur soap will not cause bacterial flora imbalance or reduce skin resistance. But it can easily cause the skin to lack water, leading to dryness and peeling of the skin. You can use a hydrating moisturizer after cleansing to replenish the moisturizing factors lost on the skin surface.

Suitable for

Yellow medicated soap: suitable for oily skin; do not use it on normal to dry skin to avoid making the skin drier; it is better not to use it on normal skin.

Precautions

When using, do not wear silver jewelry. Otherwise, the silver jewelry will react chemically with sulfur soap and turn red or black. But after brushing it lightly with toothpaste twice, it turns silvery white again. Use in moderation.

A small number of people may experience allergic reactions after using sulfur soap, such as small red spots, red lumps, etc. Use with caution. If you are allergic, you can take oral anti-allergic drugs such as vitamin C, loratadine tablets (just take it once), astemizole, Claritin, dexamethasone, cimetidine, cyproheptadine (go to a regular pharmacy and explain the situation, the staff can help you choose the medicine). If necessary, you can inject anti-allergic drugs intravenously, stop using sulfur soap, and you should also pay attention to checking the allergens.
