In addition, coloring, flavoring, preservatives, and natural or synthetic substances added to food can also cause urticaria.

Subcutaneous lipoma is a benign tumor of adipose tissue. It is composed of mature adipose tissue and can occur in any part of the body where there is fat. Lipoma has a thin fibrous endothelium with many fibrous cords inside, forming many compartments vertically and horizontally. It is most commonly found in the subcutaneous tissue of the neck, shoulders, back, buttocks, breasts and limbs, face, scalp, scrotum and labia, followed by the retroperitoneum and gastrointestinal wall. Very rarely, it may appear in areas where there was originally no fat tissue. If the tumor contains a larger proportion of fibrous tissue, it is called a fibrolipoma.

Subcutaneous lipoma is a very common skin lesion formed by the accumulation of normal fat cells. It accounts for about 80% of benign soft tissue tumors. It often occurs under the skin and can also occur in deep tissues such as internal organs. Mature adipocytes are arranged in groups, and most are surrounded by a fibrous outer membrane. However, sometimes there are scattered patches of irregularly marginated fat tissue infiltrating the muscle tissue. Lipomas are commonly found in the subcutaneous fat layer of the head, neck, shoulders and back. It can be multiple and can occur at any age, but is most often found between the ages of 40 and 60. The lesions are usually slow growing, round, soft, movable, and painless to palpation.

Subcutaneous lipomas generally do not require treatment, but if they are large, interfere with other body functions, and cause subjective symptoms, they can be surgically removed. During the operation, the tumor lobules extending into the surrounding tissues should be completely eradicated to avoid recurrence.
