How to improve double eyelids and different sizes of eyes

Double eyelids and uneven eyes are very common in daily life. Not only will they seriously affect people's image, but they will also have a certain impact on their normal life and work. Therefore, it is particularly important to find effective ways to improve them. Generally, there are two types of unequal eyes: those caused by fat pushing and those caused by uneven strength of the levator palpebrae superioris muscles. People need to choose the appropriate improvement method based on their actual situation.

1. So how to improve the size of the eyes?

Generally, there are two reasons for uneven eyes. One is that the uneven eyes are caused by fat pushing, and the other is that the uneven eyes are caused by uneven strength of the levator palpebrae superioris muscle. The uneven eyes caused by fat pushing can be improved by double eyelid surgery. In this case, small eyes are generally caused by excessive fat pushing to form single eyelids or uneven width of double eyelid folds. In this case, you only need to do double eyelid surgery to remove excess fat or skin to make the two sides symmetrical. In order to maintain the surgical effect for a longer time, it is recommended to use the full incision method.

It is relatively troublesome to improve the uneven eyelids caused by the uneven strength of the levator palpebrae superioris muscles through ptosis surgery. Double eyelid surgery alone cannot solve the problem of uneven eyes. It is also necessary to shorten or remove part of the levator palpebrae superioris muscle tissue or tendon tissue to strengthen its eyelid lifting function to improve the uneven eyes. Alternatively, fascia, sutures or silicone tubes can be used to perform forehead suture and suspension surgery to connect the levator palpebrae superioris muscle and the frontalis muscle, and use the strength of the frontalis muscle to lift the drooping eyelid.

Ptosis can be corrected surgically whether it is unilateral or bilateral, but patients need to understand that if the surgery requires absolutely identical results for both eyes, it is unrealistic and difficult for doctors to achieve. Since ptosis involves the strength of your eye-lifting muscles, the affected eye and the normal eye may have problems such as uneven eyes or incomplete eye closure right after the surgery. They will gradually return to normal in about half a year.

II. Suggestions

Whether it is double eyelid surgery or upper eyelid ptosis surgery, it requires an experienced plastic surgeon to perform the surgery. Only then can the scale of treatment be grasped during the operation to achieve the best surgical effect. Be sure to choose a regular institution and an experienced doctor.
