Early stage of Helicobacter pylori

Early stage of Helicobacter pylori

If Helicobacter pylori is discovered early and survives in the body for a short time, it is easy to eliminate. Even if it is not eliminated, it can be controlled and prevented from multiplying. You can add some baking soda water when brushing your teeth, or add some salt water to clean the nasal cavity, or add aloe vera gel to the toothpaste. These all have anti-inflammatory effects. So what are the early symptoms of Helicobacter pylori?

1. Brush your tongue with baking soda water. The chemical name of baking soda is sodium bicarbonate, which is alkaline and can neutralize some toxic acidic substances in the mouth, throat and stomach that can cause bad breath.

2. You can use salt water to clean the nasal cavity. Rhinitis, sinusitis or colds can cause excessive mucus in the nasal cavity and cause bad breath. Cleaning the nasal cavity with salt water is very effective.

3. Add some aloe vera gel to the toothpaste when brushing your teeth. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects and enhances the effect of removing bad breath.

4. Eat more green fruits and vegetables, which are rich in fiber and vitamins, promote digestion and enhance immunity. The chlorophyll in green foods is alkaline and can neutralize toxic acidic substances, which is similar to the meaning in the first point.

5. You can use peppermint oil or tea tree oil, both of which have antibacterial and disinfecting effects. Add a drop of peppermint oil or tea tree oil to a glass of water, gargle for one minute and spit it out.

Many people must be familiar with the breath test. After taking a capsule, wait for 15 minutes, then blow into an air collection card, and finally test it on the machine. The result will indicate whether you are infected with Helicobacter pylori.

Generally speaking, there are two types of breath tests, the carbon 13 breath test and the carbon 14 breath test. Both have the same accuracy rate of over 95%, so they are currently the most commonly used methods for all hospitals to detect Helicobacter pylori.

The breath test can accurately detect whether there is Helicobacter pylori in the stomach. As we all know, Helicobacter pylori is a bacterium that parasitizes in the stomach and can cause gastritis, gastric ulcers, gastric cancer, and gastric mucosa-associated lymphoma.

So, who should check for Helicobacter pylori regularly?

First, if you have symptoms of indigestion, you must get checked. Indigestion includes abdominal distension after meals, hiccups, acid reflux, belching, vomiting, etc.

Second, people who eat moldy food, pickles, pickled and smoked foods, and eat too much salt for a long time must get checked. Bad eating habits will increase the risk of Helicobacter pylori infection.

Third, if gastritis, peptic ulcer, gastric cancer, or gastric mucosa-associated lymphoma is found during gastroscopy, Helicobacter pylori testing must be performed.

Fourth, if there is a family history of gastric cancer, it is important to check for Helicobacter pylori.

A negative result for Helicobacter pylori once does not mean it will always be negative. Even if Helicobacter pylori is positive and turns negative through medication, it should be monitored dynamically because the body does not have lasting immunity to Helicobacter pylori. If you do not pay attention to your diet after killing it, do not change your unhealthy lifestyle, and continue to smoke and drink, then the risk of reinfection still exists.
