The order of foundation, isolation and sun protection

When applying foundation, you need to first apply isolation and then add sunscreen, because only in this way can you ensure that your face will not be sunburned or ultraviolet rays will directly expose the pores due to lack of sun protection, causing unnecessary trouble. Therefore, the correct way to use it should be to apply sunscreen first, then isolation cream, and then liquid foundation, applying it while keeping the skin moist.

Sunscreen --Isolation cream --Liquid foundation. The general order of applying base makeup is: toner - lotion - sunscreen - primer - BB cream/liquid foundation - pressed powder/loose powder - primer: The main function of primer is to isolate the skin from damage caused by air dust and subsequent cosmetics. Sunscreen: Protect your face from UV damage. Liquid foundation: Its main function is to cover blemishes and modify facial skin. Generally speaking, it is better to use BB cream as base makeup in daily life because BB cream is lighter and more natural.

Scope of application of sunscreen foundation, sunscreen isolation cream and sunscreen

Simply put, if you are a nine-to-five office worker who needs to wear light makeup, sunscreen foundation is a very convenient choice and it is easy to touch up; if you don't like foundation but want to improve your skin tone moderately, a sunscreen isolation cream with a slight touch-up function can meet your needs; if you are in an occasion where you don't need any makeup at all, or if you will be exposed to strong sunlight during the day, it is best to use a sunscreen with an appropriate index. As for the difference between sunscreen and sun protection isolation cream, the main difference is that isolation cream generally has the effect of correcting skin tone and helps foundation to be applied more easily.

Of course, women’s makeup products include not only foundation and primer, but also BB cream, primer, etc. Many of these products also contain sunscreen ingredients. What is the difference between them and sunscreen? What is the correct order of use to add points to your makeup?

Primer: As the name suggests, it is used before applying makeup. Most primers have a facial-beautifying effect. Their main function is to modify the uneven color and dullness of facial skin. At the same time, it can also smooth out pores to a certain extent, so that the subsequent foundation can better hide the pores. Therefore, a good primer actually does not have good absorption and penetration properties. It needs to stay on the epidermis to fill in the bumps and potholes. Primer is the base makeup, which is used after completing the skin care steps and before applying foundation. Therefore, the function of primer is ultimately to make the base makeup more lasting and fit more closely.

Sunblock: It can be understood as a combination of moisturizer and sunscreen. In addition to protecting against the damage of ultraviolet rays UVA/UVB, it can also isolate the burden of dirty air, pollution and makeup on the skin, but the sun protection factor of the isolation is lower. In addition, most isolation products now have added pigments, which have a face-beautifying effect and can be considered half a BB cream.

Pure sunscreen: It targets the damage to the skin caused by ultraviolet rays UVA/UVB in the sun and is more suitable for use outdoors in summer and other conditions where ultraviolet rays are stronger.

BB cream: originated in Germany. It has a history of more than 40 years. BB cream is the abbreviation of Blemish Balm, which is used in medical cosmetology. In professional terms, it means "scar care cream". Later, it was extended to mean baby-like skin. The essence of BB cream can be understood as "moisturizer + sunscreen + foundation", and CC cream is actually a foundation that is easier to spread and has some moisturizing effects, that's all.

Sunscreen foundation: It belongs to the category of makeup. It adds a protective function on the basis of ordinary foundation. However, general sunscreen foundation only contains SPF value. Although it can provide certain UVB protection for the skin, it cannot completely resist the damage of ultraviolet rays, especially UVA to the skin. Among them, liquid foundation combines foundation and lotion, making it easier to apply makeup.
