What should I do if my heels get blisters from shoes?

People often say that a pair of suitable shoes can make the feet very comfortable. It can be seen that the importance of shoes cannot be ignored. Moreover, if the shoes are not suitable, it will cause more serious damage to the feet. For example, blisters on the heels caused by shoes are a very common phenomenon, which will have a lot of impact on people’s lives. Let’s take a look at what to do if blisters are rubbed on the heels by shoes?

There are roughly three reasons for blisters caused by grinding. One is that the quality of shoes and socks is poor and they slip; the second is that the shoes and socks do not fit the feet well; the third is that due to long-term lack of exercise, the feet are too tender.

A pair of good shoes and good socks are very necessary. Even if you don't have money, you should be a little willful and buy a pair of comfortable shoes that fit your feet. Shoes for outdoor activities have many different functions, depending on what sport you do. You also need to pay attention to socks. I feel that thick cotton socks are better for hiking. If the shoes are of poor quality, the shoes, socks, and skin on your feet will slip and get hot, which can easily cause blisters.

After you have good shoes and socks, they must also fit your feet comfortably. You should try them on repeatedly before purchasing, and only decide to buy them when you feel that the size is right and they feel comfortable.

Solution:

1. When walking, if your feet are rubbed hot and your shoes feel dry, you might as well pour some water into the shoes, not too much, just enough to make it damp. This will make the shoes, socks and feet fit better and have a preventive effect. If you feel any discomfort somewhere, you can try putting a Band-Aid on that area.

2. If blood blisters appear, do not break them as it will be very painful and may cause infection. If you go home after the activity, just let the blisters disappear on their own. There is no need for deliberate care.

3. If the blood blister bursts, it will be quite painful. The reason why I talked so much about prevention is that I hope you don’t have to wait until the blood blister bursts. At this time, the ulcerated area should be rubbed with cotton wool (if any), walking slowly and taking a shortcut to return is a sensible choice. Of course, if the condition is serious, it will be difficult to persist. When you get home, you can apply iodine ketone, keep the soles of your feet dry, and wait for healing. If the situation is serious, go to the hospital for treatment.
