Uncover the pathological process of primary liver cancer and review the six major treatment methods for primary liver cancer

Life is spent with diseases big and small. Primary liver cancer is one of the more common malignant tumors. I believe we are not familiar with this disease. The incidence rate is very high. Cases occur in relatively backward rural areas. The incidence rate is more subtle and there are no obvious symptoms in the early stages. Most of the time, patients are diagnosed in the moderate or late stages, which is not very conducive to treatment.

What is primary liver cancer? Due to the effects of various harmful factors in the liver's external environment (mainly chemical carcinogens) and some long-term carcinogens in the liver, liver cells (or bile duct cells, etc.) proliferate, leading to the formation of malignant tumors and damage to normal structures. This disease seriously affects the patient's life and work. If you want to alleviate the disease, you need to start from your usual living habits.

The pathological process of primary liver cancer, and six major treatment methods:

1. Surgical treatment

Surgery is the first choice and the most effective means of treating liver cancer. Surgical methods include radical hepatectomy, palliative hepatectomy, etc.

2. Unresectable liver cancer treatment

Unresectable liver cancer can be treated with intraoperative hepatic artery ligation, transcatheter arterial chemoembolization, radiofrequency, cryosurgery, laser, microwave and other treatments according to specific circumstances. Primary liver cancer is also one of the indications for liver transplantation.

3. Chemical treatment

If the cancer is found to be irreversible after laparotomy, or as a follow-up treatment for palliative tumor resection, local chemoembolization therapy can be performed using a hepatic artery and portal vein pump (a subcutaneous implantable device); for patients who are estimated to be irreversible due to surgery, radiological intervention, selective cannulation of the hepatic artery through the femoral artery, injection of embolic agents (commonly used, such as iodized oil) and anticancer drug chemoembolization, some patients may have the chance of surgical resection.

4. Radiation therapy

The general condition is good, liver function is good, not related to liver cirrhosis, no jaundice, ascites, no hyperthyroidism and esophageal varices, the cancer is relatively limited, there is no distant metastasis, and it is not suitable for surgical resection or postoperative recurrence. It is used for comprehensive radiation therapy.

5. Biological treatment

Commonly used immunoglobulins, interferon, interleukin-2, thymosin, etc. can be used in combination with chemotherapy.

6. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment

Adopt dialectical treatment, attack and supplement methods, often combined with other treatments and applications. Improve the body's resistance to disease, improve physical condition and symptoms, and reduce adverse reactions to chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

1. Patients with advanced liver cancer have a series of abnormal neurological symptoms, such as changes in consciousness, poor sleep, trembling hands, coma, etc.

2. It can be caused by upper gastrointestinal bleeding, liver cancer rupture, secondary infection, excessive release of ascites, large doses of diuresis, etc. It can also be caused by surgical trauma, liver damage and high-protein diet.

3. Patients with decompensated cirrhosis have obvious motivation and the above symptoms.

4. Blood ammonia increased >59μmol/l.

5. EEG abnormal changes are obvious, such as slow rhythm, beta waves, and symmetry of both sides with the same high-voltage slow waves. Digital connection, digital labeling test, building block test, signature test, etc. are all conducive to early diagnosis.

Preventing liver cancer is not just the patient's own business. It requires the help of family members to more effectively relieve the patient's own stress and excessive emotions. Pay more attention to the patient's sudden symptoms, care and help the patient to better overcome the disease. Everyone should pay more attention to their health, which is also the greatest joy for family and friends.
