When it comes to tumors, many people are still scared and worry that it is a malignant tumor. Malignant tumors can threaten people's lives. If we can discover a tumor early and choose the appropriate treatment method, the tumor can be controlled. Whether the sarcoma is benign or malignant, early detection and early treatment are very important. Once we have any discomfort in our body, we must seek medical attention as soon as possible. If you have sarcoma on your body, it is best to seek medical attention in time and get a clear diagnosis through X-ray, CT scan, or MRI. Because a clear diagnosis is the prerequisite for choosing an appropriate treatment method, if it is a benign tumor and the tumor is relatively small, surgery may not be required. There are many possible reasons for the presence of sarcoma on the body. The first reason is that sarcoma on the body is a benign tumor formed by the proliferation of mature adipose tissue. The tumor is soft, located under the skin, and can be moved; the tumors vary in size, but the surface skin is normal. The tumor may be single or multiple and may occur anywhere on the body surface, most commonly on the shoulders, back, and abdomen. The second reason is that sarcoma on the body is medically referred to as a malignant tumor of mesenchymal tissue (including connective tissue and muscle). Local pain and swelling or accompanied by local skin redness, heat, and joint effusion; mostly occurs in the skin, subcutaneous tissue, periosteum, and both ends of long bones. Since most people cannot tell whether a sarcoma is benign or malignant with the naked eye when they discover it, it is best to seek medical attention in time if you have a sarcoma on your body and get a clear diagnosis through X-rays, CT scans, or MRI examinations. Treatment principles for benign tumors: If they are small (less than 1 cm in diameter) or multiple lipomas, generally no treatment is required; larger ones should be surgically removed. Treatment principles for malignant tumors: surgical resection, followed by symptomatic anti-infection treatment after surgery; and radiotherapy and chemotherapy as adjuvants for some sarcoma patients. Therefore, it is correct to choose a treatment method based on a clear diagnosis of the nature of the tumor and the doctor's guidance. In daily life, we often need each of us to pay more attention to changes in our bodies, detect signs of disease early, and seek treatment early to ensure health and happiness. |
