A tumor in the stomach?

If the tumor in the stomach is malignant, it is generally gastric cancer. If the tumor in the stomach is malignant or benign, it is necessary to combine one's own physical condition and postoperative pathological examination to find out the cause and treat it symptomatically. However, if the tumor in the stomach grows, surgery should be performed as soon as possible. If surgery is not performed, the condition will not only worsen, but also affect physical health. To treat gastric tumors, we also need to keep a good mood, which is beneficial to physical health.

Gastric tumor symptoms:

1. Stomach pain: When gastric cancer reaches the middle and late stages, the patient will feel obvious stomach pain. The pain is mainly in the pit of the stomach, and sometimes there will be discomfort in the upper abdomen. This kind of pain has no regularity, and the pain does not occur after eating.

2. Loss of appetite: Another symptom of gastric cancer patients is loss of appetite. Their weight suddenly decreases a lot, and they feel bloated and belching after eating. They especially don’t want to eat meat. This is a typical symptom of gastric cancer.

What are the symptoms of stomach tumors? 3. Nausea and vomiting: When gastric cancer reaches the middle and late stages, the tumor is located in the pyloric antrum, so symptoms of pyloric obstruction are very common. Patients will experience nausea, mild regurgitation, and abdominal distension after meals. Typical mechanical pyloric obstruction causes gastric dilatation and vomiting.

4. Upper gastrointestinal bleeding: Gastric cancer patients may also experience upper gastrointestinal bleeding, followed by the appearance of black stools. In the late stage of gastric cancer, the amount of bleeding is very heavy, and when there is pyloric obstruction, coffee-colored or dark red blood will appear in the vomitus, and the stool negative blood test will also be positive.

5. Other symptoms: In addition to the above symptoms, gastric cancer patients may also experience diarrhea, edema, constipation, geothermal heat, and systemic exhaustion. When the tumor ruptures or causes perforation of the stomach wall, complications such as massive bleeding and peritonitis may occur.

What causes gastric tumors ?

1. Helicobacter pylori (HP) infection: Intragastric Helicobacter pylori infection is one of the important factors for the occurrence of gastric tumors. The World Health Organization has classified Helicobacter pylori as a primary carcinogen for human gastric tumors. Differences in HP bacterial types may lead to differences in the occurrence of gastric tumors. In 1994, Forman of the United Kingdom believed that 35% of gastric cancer cases in developed countries and 85% of gastric cancer cases in developing countries were related to HP infection. Some scholars believe that HP infection may be a synergistic carcinogenic factor for gastric tumors.

2. Genetic factors: Most retrospective survey materials believe that the role of genetic factors in the etiology of gastric tumors is relatively certain, and there is an obvious tendency for familial clustering. It is generally believed that the incidence of gastric cancer in relatives of gastric cancer patients is 4 times higher than that in the control group.
