Can baby's skin allergy be treated with mugwort?

Mugwort is pungent and warm in nature, bitter in taste, and has the effects of dispelling cold, removing dampness, stopping bleeding, and having antibacterial effects. Because mugwort has antifungal effects, it can be effective in treating baby skin allergies.

Applicable symptoms: Used for baby skin allergies, eczema, and acute rash.

Dosage: For babies aged 0-6 months, 10-20g; for babies aged 6-12 months, 20-30g; for babies aged over 1 year old, 30g.

Specific method: Wrap the dry moxa leaves with clean gauze, then add water and boil for about 15 minutes. When the moxa water cools down to 35-37℃, you can use it to soak your baby's feet or wipe the body. Properly massaging the soles of your baby's feet while soaking their feet can relieve allergic symptoms faster.

Bathing time: 10-20 minutes is appropriate. The bath can be ended when the baby starts to sweat slightly.

Warm reminder: The effectiveness of using mugwort to treat baby skin allergies is limited. If this method is not very effective, parents should take the baby to the hospital to see a doctor.
