How to treat bulging eyes

How to treat bulging eyes

Some people's eyes look watery, big and very beautiful, but some people's eyes are very small and narrowed into a slit, and some people's eyes bulge outward like a fish's eye. Of course, some people have bulging eyes because of severe myopia and wearing glasses all year round, which causes eye deformation. Deformed eyes can make it difficult for people to see clearly and also affect their appearance. Let’s take a look at how to treat bulging eyes.

How to reduce the bulging of the eyeball in myopia?

Gaze into the distance:

Find a meadow or green tree 10 meters away: Due to the shorter wavelength of green, the image is formed in front of the retina, which helps the eyes to relax and the ciliary muscles to reduce eye fatigue. Don't squint or blink too often. Clear your mind, concentrate, and stare intently for 25 seconds to identify the outline of grass or leaves. Then place your left palm slightly higher than your eyes and about 30 cm in front of your eyes, and look at the palm lines one by one from beginning to end, for about 5 seconds. After looking at the palm lines, stare at the grass or leaves in the distance for 25 seconds, and then look at the palm lines again. Repeat 20 times in 10 minutes, three times a day. If your eyesight is severely impaired, you should increase the number of training sessions.

When the eyeball moves forward due to various reasons and the corneal apex exceeds the upper orbital edge, it is called exophthalmos. The normal protrusion of the eyeball is generally 12-14 mm, and the difference in protrusion between the two eyes is less than 2 mm. If the protrusion of the eyeball exceeds 16 mm and the difference in protrusion between the two eyes is greater than 2 mm, it can be considered as exophthalmos. There are many causes of exophthalmos. If you find that you have exophthalmos, you should actively find the cause in order to get effective treatment. Common causes are as follows:

(1) Inflammatory exophthalmos is mostly caused by local, adjacent tissue and systemic inflammation, such as eye fasciitis, orbital cellulitis, cavernous sinus thrombosis, panophthalmitis, etc. In addition to bulging eyes, there are also signs of inflammation such as local redness, swelling, heat, and pain.

(2) Intraorbital tumors are one of the common causes of exophthalmos. Most of them are benign, with hemangiomas being the majority. They develop slowly and are mainly manifested by exophthalmos and normal or decreased vision. Hello; based on your description, it is not clear whether you are nearsighted? Generally, after becoming myopic, the eye axis will become longer and the eyes will naturally bulge outward. This is an inevitable consequence of myopia. All you have to do is keep it clean. When human eyes reach a certain refractive power, they will naturally deform. That is to say, the deformation of -200D is greater than that of -600D. It has nothing to do with the length of time you wear glasses, but the degree. If you do not wear myopia glasses after becoming myopic, the lens in your eye will bulge outward.
