How to store rice wine

1. In the first few days after the fermented glutinous rice is made, the concentration of naturally synthesized sugar in the rice is the highest, the alcohol concentration is very low, and the rice wine is sweet and delicious. This is the time when it is most delicious.

Therefore, before making it, you should consider the consumption of family members. Don’t make too much at one time. It should be eaten within three or four days. If it is left for too long, fermentation will continue and the wine will first taste too strong and bitter, then become sour and astringent and no longer tasty.

Under normal circumstances, 1000g of glutinous rice can produce 1500ml of glutinous rice wine.

2. The finished fermented glutinous rice can be moved into the refrigerator and stored at low temperature to control the continued fermentation and can be taken out and eaten at any time. At the same time, still remember to use a special spoon to scoop the wine to avoid getting oily and causing the wine to go bad.

How to store rice wine best

1. Put the brewed rice wine in a wine jar and seal it with wide bamboo leaves. Then cover it with thick mud. It can be stored in a cool place or cellar for more than a year. However, if it is stored for a long time, some of the alcohol will evaporate and the taste will become lighter, so it is best to consume it within a short time.

2. The brewed rice wine will no longer continue to ferment after high-temperature sterilization, so it will not change its taste. If you want to seal the porcelain jar, you can seal the mouth with wax, the effect will be better.

3. You can put it in the refrigerator, but not for too long. After three days, the glutinous rice will be soaked in wine and taste like wine, without any sweetness. If you don't have a refrigerator, you can use an urn to store it, but it must be placed in a cool place.

4. After the rice wine is ready, pour the wine into the pot, put it on the stove and boil it. After it cools down, divide it into bottles and put them in the refrigerator. It can be stored for a long time. If you don’t want to eat the dregs, just squeeze them out and cook the fermented glutinous rice wine.
