In life, everyone will inevitably be exposed to radiation, but most of the radiation will not pose a threat to human health, so there is no need to worry too much. However, there are exceptions. For example, due to work reasons, some people will be exposed to an environment with relatively high radiation for a long time. In this case, it is very necessary to wear anti-radiation clothing. So what material should anti-radiation clothing be made of? What material is good for radiation protection clothing? Anti-radiation clothing, also known as electromagnetic radiation shielding clothing, is made of a mix of metal fibers and textile fibers, and the manufacturing process is relatively complicated. The current mainstream materials are as follows: 1. Metal fiber blended fabric Generally, stainless steel metal fibers with a diameter of about 0.008 mm are blended with fibers such as cotton and polyester to form fabrics. The shielding value of good fabrics is above 30DB. Because other fabrics are added, it has better flexibility. Parameters: Breathable, washable, stable shielding performance. 2. All-silver fiber knitted fabric A new type of composite fiber made by fusing silver ions with ordinary fabrics. In addition to having good breathability, it also has an antibacterial and maintenance effect on the human body. The shielding value of the knitted fabric made of all-silver fiber is above 70DB. This kind of fabric is more susceptible to oxidation, but oxidation does not affect the radiation protection effect and the use of the clothing. Parameters: breathable, washable, antibacterial maintenance, static elimination, stable shielding performance. 3. Semi-silver fiber blended fabric Semi-silver fiber fabric refers to a fabric made by blending silver fiber with fibers such as polyester. The shielding value of this fabric is between metal fiber and full silver fiber fabric, at around 50-60DB. It usually has higher antioxidant capacity than full silver fiber fabric, and also has antibacterial and maintenance effects. Parameters: breathable, washable, antibacterial maintenance, static elimination, stable shielding performance. 4. Deep sea sedimentation fabric Deep-sea precipitation fabric refers to a fabric made by blending metal fiber or silver fiber developed using deep-sea precipitation technology with fibers such as lint with a micronaire value between 4.1-4.3. This kind of fabric, after being produced by modern technology, can effectively shield radiation up to 80DB. It is the best mainstream fabric with good air permeability and deodorizing and sterilizing effects. Parameters: breathable, washable, antibacterial maintenance, static elimination, stable shielding performance. |
