There are many red bumps on the chest

What causes red bumps on the chest? The hot summer is the peak season for various skin diseases. For example, some boys who love sports will develop many small red pimples on their chests. This has a lot to do with the fact that after exercise, bacteria grow and there is not enough time to clean. In addition, the growth of red pimples on the chest is also related to various factors such as human sebum secretion, endocrine system, and blockage of the stratum corneum. So what are the specific reasons? This article will tell you the answer.

1. Excessive sweating: Summer is the peak season for chest acne, because the chest will sweat a lot in the hot summer, and the clothes will be wet with sweat. If the sweaty clothes are not washed in time and stick to the skin for a long time, it is easy to breed bacteria, causing skin infection and providing a breeding ground for acne.

2. The stratum corneum clogs the pores: The stratum corneum is composed of 5-10 layers of dead flat keratinocytes and is the product of the continuous death and regeneration of epidermal cells. Most people don't exfoliate their chest skin, so the stratum corneum on the chest becomes thicker and thicker, clogging the pores, causing inflammation of the hair follicles and the growth of acne.

3. Endocrine disorders: Endocrine disorders are a major factor causing chest acne. The endocrine system is an important component for regulating human functions and maintaining a relatively stable internal environment. Nowadays, people do not pay attention to diet control and eat too much spicy and irritating food. In addition, irregular work and rest schedules cause dampness and heat in the spleen and stomach, endocrine disorders, and lead to abnormal keratinization of the hair follicles and sebaceous ducts and hyperfunction of the sebaceous glands, resulting in acne.

4. Excessive sebum secretion: The occurrence of acne is closely related to the poor discharge of sebum. The chest, like the face, has relatively developed sebaceous glands. The sebaceous gland is an important gland attached to the skin that secretes sebum, which enters the hair follicles through the ducts and is then discharged to the skin surface through the pores. Excessive sebum secretion will clog the pores and cause acne.

5. Urticaria: Urticaria can cause red bumps on the body. Symptoms include sudden redness, swelling, and itching of the skin, and the appearance of rashes of various sizes and shapes. They are isolated or scattered at first, gradually expand, and merge into patches. Most of these rashes will automatically disappear within 24 hours, but new rashes will occur one after another. It can be divided into acute urticaria, chronic urticaria, angioedema and papular urticaria.

6. Insect bite dermatitis: related to insect bites, such as bed bugs, fleas, lice, mites, mosquitoes and other insects that inject saliva after biting the skin, inducing an allergic reaction. To prevent this disease, you should avoid going to grass, shade of trees or moist places with many mosquitoes, and you can use mosquito coils indoors. Do not apply safflower oil, as this may cause allergies and aggravate the condition.

7. Eczema: Red bumps on the chest may also be a manifestation of eczema. Eczema is triggered by a variety of internal and external factors and has obvious symptoms: the primary origin worsens acutely with redness, swelling, erosion, and exudation; the secondary origin appears 12 weeks after onset, manifested as papules, small blisters, erosion, exudation, etc.; eczema lesions are often distributed on the limbs, especially the upper limbs, but can also occur on the trunk, face and neck. Reasonable Chinese medicine dialectical treatment is the key to treating chronic eczema, and the choice of topical drug dosage form is also an important factor.
