This method can store apples for more than 7 months, with a good fruit rate of about 90%. Apples preserved in this way are not easy to lose water, the fruit is as fresh and sweet as before, and even the fruit stalks remain green. But you must be careful during the entire operation, handle it with care, and do not damage the fruit at all. The warehouse must also be cleaned first, and it is better to use earth walls, brick walls and tile houses. The best plastic bags are high-pressure polyethylene bags of 17×13 cm because of their good transparency and the good color of the fruits when packaged. |
