How to gain weight with bad stomach

1. Seaweed Pumpkin Soup

Ingredients: 100 grams of old pumpkin, 10 grams of seaweed, 20 grams of dried shrimps, 1 egg, and appropriate amounts of soy sauce, lard, rice wine, vinegar, MSG, and sesame oil.

Preparation method: First soak the seaweed in water, wash it, beat the eggs in a bowl and mix well, soak the dried shrimp in rice wine, peel and remove the pumpkin, wash and cut into pieces; then put the pot on the fire, pour in lard, after heating, add soy sauce to the pot, add appropriate amount of water, put in the dried shrimp and pumpkin pieces, cook for about 30 minutes, then add the seaweed, after 10 minutes, pour the beaten egg liquid into the pot, add seasonings and mix well. This soup has the effect of protecting the liver, nourishing the kidneys and strengthening the body.

Note: Pumpkin is warm in nature, so people with severe stomach heat should eat less.

2. Papaya and grass carp tail soup

Ingredients: 1 papaya, 100 grams of grass carp tail.

Preparation method: Peel and cut the papaya into pieces, fry the grass carp tail in a pan with oil for a while, add a little papaya and ginger slices, add appropriate amount of water, and cook for about 1 hour.

Function: nourishing and helping digestion. It has auxiliary therapeutic effects on indigestion, chest and abdominal distension.

3. Chicken stewed with ginseng, astragalus and monkey head

Ingredients: 100 grams of Hericium erinaceus, 1 hen (about 750 grams), 10 grams each of astragalus, codonopsis, and jujube, and appropriate amounts of ginger slices, scallion knots, Shaoxing wine, clear soup, and starch.

Preparation method: Wash the Hericium erinaceus and remove the stems. After it swells, squeeze out the remaining water in the mushroom to remove the bitterness, and then cut into 2 mm thick slices for later use. Remove the hen's head and feet, chop it into cubes, put it into a stewing pot, add ginger slices, scallion knots, Shaoxing wine, and clear soup, top with Hericium erinaceus slices and soaked and washed Astragalus, Codonopsis, and jujube. Simmer over low heat until the meat is cooked through, then season to taste.

Function: Tonify Qi, strengthen the spleen and nourish the stomach.

Foods that strengthen the spleen and nourish the stomach, such as yam, lotus seeds, soybeans, grains, lentils, coix seeds, hawthorn, bananas, dates, chestnuts, lean pork, beef, chicken, milk, and soy products. Chinese herbal medicines that nourish the spleen and stomach include ginseng, poria, astragalus, atractylodes, licorice, etc., and their effects are better when mixed with food into medicinal foods.
