How to get rid of redness on the face

In addition to the normal reason of pore expansion and heat dissipation, redness on the face may also be caused by pathological reasons. For people with sensitive skin, a little dust or pollen may cause facial redness that lasts for a long time. For such a problem, the first thing to do is to find out the cause of the problem, and then prescribe the right medicine to solve the problem of facial redness in one fell swoop.

How are red blood streaks formed? Let us first understand the reasons for their formation. Whether it is the red blood streaks on the face caused by capillary dilation, which leads to thinning and atrophy of the skin, or the red blood streaks caused by sudden cold or heat, or the red blood streaks caused by damage to the stratum corneum due to various reasons, and the red blood streaks on the face caused by aging, fragility, lack of elasticity of blood vessels, slow blood vessel contraction, and easy exudation of red blood cells, the most fundamental reason is the damage to the cell tissue of each layer of the skin and the loss of collagen, which leads to thinning of the stratum corneum, abnormally sensitive skin, dilation and proliferation of blood vessels, increased permeability of blood vessel walls, weakened elasticity of blood vessel walls, and poor blood circulation, which ultimately cause red blood streaks!

1. No need to exfoliate in winter

Thin stratum corneum and damaged stratum corneum are the main causes of skin allergies, so it is most important to maintain red bloodshot skin.

What we want is to protect the stratum corneum from being damaged. The skin with red blood cells is very thin, and there is no need to exfoliate in the dry winter.

2. Sun protection prevents premature skin aging

Sensitive skin with red blood streaks has a thin and fragile epidermis, so its defense against ultraviolet rays is quite weak, which makes it prone to aging and worsens the red blood streaks. You must pay attention to the use of sunscreen products at ordinary times. Sunscreen products should preferably be designed for sensitive skin. In addition, sunscreen cannot be applied directly to the skin. Basic skin care products should be applied first, and then sunscreen.

3. Moisturize thoroughly

Red bloodshot skin is too thin to store moisture, and will feel dry faster than normal skin in winter.

Lack of water, therefore, it is very important to strengthen moisturizing in daily care. In addition to applying some toner, moisturizing lotion and face cream containing moisturizing ingredients every day, you also need to apply a hydrating and moisturizing facial mask regularly.

4. Don’t be overprotective

There are many skin care products on the market that emphasize high efficiency. The nutrients in skin care products must act deep into the skin, but these are fatal to skin with red blood streaks. High concentration and high effect will cause high sensitivity and high risk. Skin with red blood streaks cannot use products with too strong efficacy. Products that do not contain therapeutic effects and do not add burden to the skin should be used. This is the best way to restore skin to health.

5. Stay away from allergic sources

When the skin is dry, peeling, and red, it indicates that the health of the skin is in danger. You should work to restore the skin to health, reduce irritation, avoid excessive exposure to wind and sun, stop using all skin care products and cleansers, and only need to wash your face with warm water every day. Stick to this for a period of time. After the skin condition improves, you can use low-sensitivity skin care products and the skin will slowly heal itself and get better.

6. Proper massage

Essential oils such as rose, lavender, cypress, rosemary, sandalwood, and chamomile can enhance the toughness and resistance of red blood capillaries, repair the stratum corneum, and fade red blood. Simply add a few drops of the aforementioned essential oil to 10ml of calendula essential oil, then rub it with your hands to warm it up and gently apply it on the skin, paying special attention to the thinnest and most fragile areas of the skin. The massage technique must be gentle pressure, and you can stop after about 5 to 10 minutes. It is recommended to press 1-2 times a week.

7. Watch your diet

In your daily diet, you should consume more foods that can strengthen the blood vessel walls. Vitamins A, C and K all have this function, such as soy products, broccoli, lettuce, etc. Foods such as fish, shrimp, and coffee are prone to cause allergic reactions and should be avoided as much as possible.
