How do you know if your body is acidic or alkaline?

Every substance has its own pH value, and the human body is no exception. So what is the pH value of the human body, acidic or alkaline? About 70% of the human body is water, which becomes body fluid. Body fluids contain various ions, compounds and metabolites that are indispensable to the human body. Most biochemical reactions in life activities take place in aqueous solutions. How do you know if your body is acidic or alkaline?

The first method is self-feeling. If you suffer from long-term physical weakness, fatigue, fatigue, or other sub-health symptoms, it undoubtedly means that your body fluids are acidifying.

The second method is to use pH test paper. The simplest way is to test your saliva on an empty stomach in the morning for three consecutive days. If the average pH value is less than 7.0, you have an acidic body.

It should be noted that the pH value of blood fluctuates within a very small range of 7.35-7.45. Less than 7.35 is acidic, and less than 7.0 indicates an extremely serious condition.

There are three main factors that lead to an acidic body constitution:

First, metabolic factors. The human body is undergoing metabolism every moment, and the metabolites produced are acidic.

Second, dietary factors. Most people's daily diet consists mostly of acidic foods, such as meat, eggs, milk, alcohol, carbonated drinks, etc. After digestion, these foods leave acidic substances such as sulfur, nitrogen, phosphorus, and chlorine in the body, forming acid radicals in the body, which is the most important reason for the formation of acidic physique.

Third, environmental factors. The pollution of the macro-environment also affects the micro-environment in the body, destroying the acid-base balance system in the body and accelerating the acidification of body fluids.

List of food acids and alkalis:

Strong acidic foods: egg yolks, cheese, desserts, white sugar, tuna, and flounder.

Moderately acidic foods: ham, bacon, chicken, pork, eel, beef, bread, wheat.

Weakly acidic foods: white rice, peanuts, beer, seaweed, octopus, chocolate, macaroni, and onions.
