Breathing to adjust sleep

Breathing to adjust sleep

Sleep is the most important physiological need of people. People need to sleep at regular times and in fixed quantities every day. This is the body's instinct to rest and is extremely important for health. It is also an important process to relieve physical stress. Some people have sleep disorders and are easily troubled by various factors. Therefore, they need to adjust their sleep, and breathing can be used to adjust it. Let's take a look at how to adjust sleep by breathing.

Many people are afraid when they think of the trouble of insomnia. Maybe it’s because I have too many things on my mind, or maybe it’s because the pressure from work and life is too great, I always suffer from insomnia at night. Is there any way to relieve it? I believe that the method of counting sheep has been used countless times and should have been useless a long time ago. Then try another method!

It is easier to fall asleep by listening to some soothing music than counting sheep. However, a doctor who graduated from Harvard University recently shared a method to help you sleep called the "4-7-8 breathing method". It does not require any medication or equipment. Just follow this method and you can fall asleep within 60 seconds! Is this true or false? Let’s take a look first.

Breathe in through your nose for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 7 seconds, and finally exhale for 8 seconds. After doing this 3 times, you will feel sleepy. You may not be familiar with it and feel sleepy at first, but as long as you do it twice a day for 6-8 weeks, you will be able to fall asleep quickly within 60 seconds!

The scientific basis of this method comes from the ancient Indian breathing regulation method. Deep breathing can help our brain relax. This is also the reason why many people do this action in tense moments. When you sleep at night, deep breaths in and out can allow oxygen to enter the lungs and flow smoothly inside, relaxing the sympathetic nerves and reducing stress a lot. When people feel calmer, they will naturally fall asleep more easily.

Snoring while sleeping can actually be a serious illness? Don't be careless!

Many people think that snoring while sleeping is just a very normal and common phenomenon and there is no need to take it seriously. In fact, this idea is wrong. Snoring is medically called snoring, which is divided into two different situations, one is "monosnoring" and the other is "sleep apnea syndrome".
