The evaporator is a very important component and is indispensable in the various refrigeration equipment we often use. People who don’t know much about evaporators must be very concerned about what evaporators are. A simple understanding of evaporators may be boring. We need to understand them in combination with the different characteristics and features of evaporators, so that we can leave a deeper impression. Let's take a closer look at what an evaporator is. The evaporator is a very important component among the four major parts of refrigeration. The low-temperature condensed liquid passes through the evaporator to exchange heat with the outside air, vaporizes and absorbs heat to achieve the refrigeration effect. The evaporator mainly consists of two parts: the heating chamber and the evaporation chamber. The heating chamber provides the liquid with the heat required for evaporation, causing the liquid to boil and vaporize; the evaporation chamber completely separates the gas and liquid phases. Classification 1. According to the evaporation method: Natural evaporation: that is, the solution evaporates at a temperature below the boiling point, such as seawater salt. In this case, the solvent vaporizes only on the surface of the solution, and the solvent vaporization rate is low. Boiling evaporation: heating the solution to boiling point so that it evaporates in a boiling state. Industrial evaporation operations are basically of this type.
Direct heat source heating is an evaporation process in which fuel is mixed with air and the high-temperature flame and flue gas generated by the combustion are sprayed directly into the evaporated solution through a nozzle to heat the solution and vaporize the solvent. The indirect heat source heats the vessel walls and is transferred to the evaporated solution. That is, the heat transfer process carried out in the partition heat exchanger.
It can be divided into normal pressure, pressurized and reduced pressure (vacuum) evaporation operations. Obviously, heat-sensitive materials such as antibiotic solutions, fruit juices, etc. should be processed under reduced pressure. High viscosity materials should be evaporated by heating with pressurized high temperature heat source (such as heat transfer oil, molten salt, etc.) 4. According to the number of effects : It can be divided into single-effect and multiple-effect evaporation. If the secondary steam produced by evaporation is directly condensed and no longer utilized, it is called single-effect evaporation. If the secondary steam is used as the next-effect heating steam and multiple evaporators are connected in series, the evaporation process is called multi-effect evaporation. |
