Natural childbirth is very good for the fetus because the fetus's ability to resist infection will be higher after being squeezed through the birth canal. Giving birth is like walking through the gates of hell for women. Although medicine is very advanced now, the pain of natural childbirth is unbearable for ordinary people, and it may also cause permanent damage to the body. Some women said that they felt a sagging feeling down there ten days after giving birth. Could it be that their uterus was sagging after childbirth?

1. What are the symptoms of uterine prolapse after normal delivery?

1. The most obvious symptom is increased vaginal discharge. Sometimes it appears yellow pus-like or bloody.

2. Frequent, urgent and painful urination. Urine may involuntarily leak out of the urethra when you cough, sneeze, laugh or walk. Due to frequent stimulation from urine, the vulva may become inflamed and become red, swollen, painful and itchy. Due to difficulty in urination, some patients have to lift up their buttocks and squeeze hard to urinate.

3. Constipation, abdominal distension, and difficulty in defecation. When the uterus prolapses to the second or third degree, the posterior wall of the vagina may also bulge, and the rectum will bulge as well, becoming S-shaped. Stool cannot pass smoothly, causing constipation and difficulty in defecation. Sometimes, if the abdomen is bent too much, it is difficult for air to pass through and farts cannot be released, which causes abdominal bloating.

4. Feeling of falling and back pain. It is especially severe in the deep lumbar region, but there is no tenderness there. This is caused by uterine prolapse, pulling on the supporting tissues around it, and subsequent pelvic congestion. At the same time, there is a feeling of heaviness and distension in the lower abdomen, vagina, and vulva. The symptoms worsen when standing for a long time, walking or working, and can be alleviated or even disappear when lying down.

5. Objects come out of the channel. In patients with grade II and III uterine prolapse, the cervix and uterine body protrude outside the vaginal opening and can be retracted when lying flat.

2. Here are some things to note about uterine prolapse in women after childbirth.

1. Avoid eating cold seafood that can easily cause prolapse, such as clams, snails and other seafood. Eating them will hurt the spleen and stomach, further aggravate the condition of uterine prolapse, and make it difficult to recover from uterine prolapse.

2. Avoid eating cold fruits, such as pears, watermelons, grapefruits, lemons, sweet oranges, bananas, apricots, sour dates, hawthorns, cantaloupe and other fruits. They will damage the spleen and stomach and aggravate the symptoms of uterine prolapse.

3. Pay attention to rest after delivery, do a good job of health care during the confinement period, try not to participate in heavy physical labor, it is best to lie down or sit when doing things, and try to avoid squatting.

4. After delivery, you can do some anal contraction exercises to improve the symptoms of uterine prolapse. Contract the pelvic muscles and pull the anus upwards as much as possible. Contract 10-20 times each time. You can do it more often when you have time every day.

5. Avoid eating foods that damage the Qi, such as white radish, pickles, bamboo shoots, turnips, tea, vinegar, etc. Eating too much will damage the Qi and waste nutrients, making the body lack adequate nutrients to recover after delivery, which will cause the uterus to contract weakly.
