At this time, glycogen can be converted into lactic acid via pyruvate and stored in the muscles. When lactic acid accumulates in the muscles, it will stimulate the chemical receptors in the muscles to become excited. The excitement is then transmitted to the cerebral cortex, causing a feeling of soreness. At the same time, due to the accumulation of substances such as lactic acid, the osmotic pressure in the muscles increases, causing the muscle tissue to absorb more water and produce local swelling, and also a feeling of soreness and swelling. Body aches, laziness, dizziness, and heavy legs. Persistent fatigue that does not go away for a long time.
