Can finger thorns be inherited

Can finger thorns be inherited

The part where the finger nails and skin are connected is prone to damage. The leathery strips produced by this damage bring great trouble to people's lives. This thing is also called corns. In fact, its scientific name is corns. It is a common symptom. The pain caused to the fingers is relatively strong and will affect the quality of life. Can corns on fingers be inherited?

"Paste thorn" refers to "hangnai", which is called reverse peeling in medicine. Under normal circumstances, the area around the nail is tightly connected to the skin without any space, forming a natural barrier. But sometimes we will see that the skin on the fingertip near the root of the nail will crack, forming a raised triangular flesh thorn, which is a hangnail.

Doctors say that hangnails are superficial skin damage and are not a big problem. It will just cause discomfort to the baby's hands. As long as you pay attention to hand care in daily life, the condition of hangnails can be alleviated. However, if you tear it off with your hands, the barbed area is likely to cause secondary bacterial infection, and in severe cases may cause paronychia.

There are three main factors:

1. Dry skin

If the mother does not take good care of the baby on a daily basis, the skin will easily crack when it becomes dry, especially in winter, and the baby's fingers are likely to grow hangnails.

2. Active

The little ones are always lively and active, never idle for a moment, and often use their little hands to grab toys or other things. Excessive conflicts cause barbs to grow on their tender little hand skin.

3. Lack of nutrition

If the baby's daily diet lacks vitamin C or other trace elements, it will show up on the skin surface, and hangnails are one of the ways.

Solution:

1. Nail care: Keep nails clean on a regular basis and teach your baby that biting nails is a very undesirable thing to do.

2. To supplement nutrition, mothers should pay more attention to their baby’s daily diet. Because usually the appearance of hangnails is caused by too little oil on the fingers. Therefore, mothers should let their babies drink more water and eat more fruits on a daily basis. If the hangnails are caused by a lack of vitamins or trace elements, it is recommended that parents take their children to the hospital for examination.

3. If the hangnails are caused by dry skin, parents should pay attention to maintaining the indoor humidity and take good care of the children on a daily basis. They can soak their hands in warm water and then apply moisturizing skin care products, preferably edible ones, such as olive oil.
